简历:

  翟明国,前寒武纪与变质地质学家,岩石学家,中国科学院院士,第三世界科学院士。现任中国科学院地质与地球物理研究所研究员,大陆动力学国家重点实验室主任、中国科学院矿产资源重点实验室学术委员会主任。兼任内生金属矿床成矿机制国家重点实验室(南京大学)等9个国家与部门重点实验室的学术委员会主任、副主任和委员。
  主要从事变质岩石学、前寒武纪地质和地球化学研究,以及火成岩岩石学的研究,是一位国内外有影响的科学家和学术带头人。多年来,他针对早期陆壳的形成与增长、早期大陆壳的结构与成分、前寒武纪与显生宙变质作用和大陆动力学机制的异同等前沿核心科学问题,并且研究大陆演化历史与矿产资源的富集机理,集中研究华北陆块以及相邻地区,取得了系统的创造性成果。
  近年来的主要研究内容及成果有:1,发现和报道了在中国华北有早前寒武纪高压变质带,包括高压麻粒岩和退变榴辉岩,是世界上有关研究中最早的报道之一,引起国内外的注意;2,提出中国华北克拉通与其它克拉通在构造演化上有重大差别的岩石学和地球化学证据,以及前寒武纪重大地质事件划分方案。3,报道了大别山超高压变质带有沉积变质的硬玉石英岩,证实确有形成于地表的岩石因构造作用曾下插到地幔深度,而后又抬升到地表;4,提出将大别山和山东的高压变质岩划分为三个不同性质的岩石构造单元,从而为造山带构造演化提供了新的思路;5,提出在华北的中生代岩石圈减薄过程中,下地壳起到重要作用;6,发现和报道了朝鲜半岛印支期榴辉岩,讨论了大别山-苏鲁造山带在朝鲜半岛的延伸状态,为东北亚的构造演化奠定了基础。
  获国家自然科学二等奖一项(排名第一),中国科学院自然科学一等奖一项、二等奖两项,土资源部科技创新一等奖两项,何梁何利科学技术(地球科学)奖。截止2014年统计,发表SCI论文二百余篇,h-index指数53,SCI引用9000多次,专著与论文集30部,科研报告十余部。
  承担过国家、中科院、基金委多个重大、重点(包括973项目)和重大国际合作项目。培养研究生数十人。
  在多个国际和全国学术组织和学术刊物任职。主要国内外任职有:国际榴辉岩委员会委员,国际冈瓦纳研究会执行委员(中国委员会主席),中国地质学会、中国矿物岩石地球化学学会、中国岩土工程学会理事或常务理事、副理事长,北京市人才领导小组专家委员会副主任;岩石学报主编,Island Arc和矿物学报副主编,中国科学、Gondwana Research、地球化学等11个学术期刊编委,是中国科学院大学、中山大学、西北大学、吉林大学、圣.路易斯大学和澳门科技大学兼职教授。
