    - hydrocarbon accumulation and associated fundamental geological problems; 
    - abnormal pore pressure occurrence and pressure distribution; 
    - basin modelling.

Research Interests:
My research interests have been in petroleum geology, currently focusing on numerical modeling, geopressuring, and hydrocarbon migration and accumulation.

  1. Chinese National Key Scientific and Technological Project: Understandings and assessing technology on oil and gas accumulations in deep basins of China  
  2. The Chinese National Major Fundamental Research Developing Project: Mechanisms of petroleum accumulation in the deep buried basins of Northwestern China 
  3. Cooperation research project with PetroChina - Tarim Oil Company: Readjustment of paleo-reservoirs in the Hadexun Oil Field: numerical modeling and mechanism analyzing.  
  4. Cooperation research project with Yanchang oik Company: studies on shale gas in the South-east part of the Ordos Basin.  
  5. Cooperation research project with Sinopec Research Center: Mechanisms of petroleum accumulation and prospect in the Center of the Zhungger Basin, China
