Research Interests:
Xiaobo Tian's primary research work involves analysis of seismic waves to recover the velocity structure and lateral variations of velocity discontinuities in crust and upper mantle and to study the property of rocks in the crust. But my interesting is wide, including all kinds of seismological method, the structure of the earth, its evolution and interior movement.
Public Services:

Honors:

Supported Projects:

1. Identification of multiple reflected phases from receiver function and studying the structure of crust and upper mantle in Tibet. (The Chinese National Natural Science Foundation).
2. 3-D Mantle transition zone topography reconstruction and its application in Tibet geodynamics. (The Chinese National Natural Science Foundation).
