Ji'en Zhang
Associate Professor of Structural Geology
State Key Laboratory of Lithospheric Evolution
Employment
Feb. 2013 - Associate Professor of Structural Geology, Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences
March 2010 - Jan. 2013 Postdoc, Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences
Education
2004 - 2009: Ph.D. Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences
2000 - 2004: B.S. Chinese University of Geosciences, Beijing

Research Interests:
Structural Geology, accretionary complex, ophiolite, orogeny
I am focused on analysis of deformation in accretionary prism based on field work, and combined with approaches, such as geochronology, geochemistry and sedimentology to explore geodynamic of the accretionary orogen
