  • 2022/12 to date, Professor, Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences

Research Interests:
  1. The origin, acceleration, transport, modulation, and geoeffectiveness of Solar Energetic Particles (SEPs) and Cosmic Rays (CRs).
  2. Space Weather, Solar Corona and Interplanetary Physics, Turbulence, Collisionless Shocks, Solar Wind.

Solar energetic particles (SEPs), which are charged energetic particles occasionally emitted by the Sun, endanger the health of astronauts working in space and damage electronic components on satellites, and so they have become a very important aspect affecting the solar-terrestrial space environment and space weather. In theoretical studies, SEPs observed in the interplanetary magnetic field provide fundamental information regarding the acceleration mechanisms and transport processes of charged energetic particles. The subject of SEPs has become a focus of space physics, astrophysics, and plasma physics. (He, H.-Q., & Wan, W. 2015, ApJS, 218, 17)

I am the reviewers for The Astrophysical Journal, The Astrophysical Journal Letters, Solar Physics, Physics of Plasmas, Advances in Space Research, etc.
